Abstract

|
The author has treated a true trigeminal neulagia patient, so-called Tic Douloureux, in 56 years old korean house-wife. This Tic Douloureux has been originated from her left inferior alveolar nerve. Under local anesthesia with 2% Lidocaine 1-ICL containing 1:50,000 Epinephrine solution, the alveolar nerve avulsion has been performed from mental foramen to mandibular foramen. The patient has satisfied the operation results because she has been free from the neuralgic pain. The avulsed nerve was 6.5 cm. in length.
